Technology use has come a long way. People use it everyday in forms of communication, work, and getting things accomplished, etc. Integrating it in the classroom is when you have the students be involved with it as well. I think it can be very helpful when it comes to teaching. Using the computers will give a huge variety in teaching strategies. It also can be a fun activity for the children to enjoy and they will experience a new way of learning.
I agree with everything you have said. Technology has come a long way and it has given many teachers an advantage. It is a great means of communication between other staff members as well as student's parents. Student's can definitly be involved with it by letting them become involved on the computers and if old enough, taking turns writing on the interactive white board.
I completely agree; technology just gets better and better, and of course more difficult as well. I think teachers should be offered classes for techniques to incorporate technology in the classroom as new technology arrives. This will help the teachers become more comfortable with technology so they can use these skills to bring positive affects upon their students.
